Women's League Format

• Scratch League: plays off scratch in Singles Match Play and Foursomes Match Play format.
• Gold & Silver League: plays off handicap in Singles Match Play and Foursomes format.
• Bronze & Copper League: plays off handicap in Four-Ball Match Play format and Singles Match Play. There are 2 Bronze Sections competing for the Playoffs.

The Scratch League (formerly A League) has been contested since 1912 where Royal Cape dominated as winners. It was from the mid-seventies, that it was a close contest between Rondebosch (19 titles) and King David Mowbray (formerly Mowbray) (13 titles).

In 2011, Milnerton were winners for the first time in their club's history.
