With challenging weather conditions prior to the start of the first round and then having some rough winds on day one, it was a rocky start for Cameron being 2 over after 5 holes but in held his form and carded a 73 to be one shot off the pace.

Round two was played in perfect conditions, but the beautiful little course doesn’t offer up many birdies and saw Cameron drop a shot on the second hole to finish one over on the front nine and then birdied 11 & 17 to shoot one under 70 to win by one shot.

Two days prior to his win, Cameron finished in third place, a mere 2 shots off the pace at the 2022 Eastern Cape Seniors.
