The 2nd Senior Series Tournament was hosted at the Parow Golf Club in Cape Town, which offered a picturesque setting and a relaxed atmosphere on a picture-perfect autumn day. The golf course was in excellent condition (playability and aesthetics), making birdies a plentiful prospect. The Southern Turf Management company deserves recognition for its efforts to raise the standards of the course.

In a dominant performance, Brain Mampies (Royal Cape) carded an impressive 67 (-5), two shots clear of Jonathan Bernard (Clovelly), who carded a 69 (-3) with an unfortunate double bogey on the last hole.

Ralph Fransman (Somerset West) and Johann Grove (Parow) tied for third place on respective scores of 70 (-2).
