The 2021 KDM Open was held yesterday, 15th August 2021. The tournament formed part of 1 of our 5 “major” PAT events this year which is played over 36 holes.

The conditions were near perfect all day but the course gave the guys a good run for their money.

Leading round 1 in the morning was Ivan Motale, King David Mowbray, recording a 3 under par 69. Geno Belfiore, Milnerton, 1 shot behind him on a gross 70 and Roux Burger, King David Mowbray, on a 71.

Cameron Johnston, King David Mowbray, kicked it up a gear in the afternoon round with him and Roux Burger neck on neck. Cameron kept is cool and recorded 5 birdies, 1 eagle, 11 par’s and a bogey to see him finish at 4 under par, 3 shots clear of Sean Howell, Durbanville, Luke Pienaar, Erinvale, and Roux Burger, King David Mowbray, finishing T2 on 1 under par, 143.

Congratulations to Cameron Johnston for winning the  2021 KDM Open Title on a gross of 140.
