The Strand Junior Championship delivered plenty of excitement as tricky winds challenged the field throughout the day.

At the top of the leaderboard, Evan Marais and Zayaan Hendricks both signed for impressive rounds of 71, forcing a playoff. The drama peaked on the second extra hole, where Marais chipped in for eagle to seal a thrilling victory.

In the U/15 division, Tiaan Louw continued his strong run of form with another narrow win, posting a solid 70 to edge out his rivals by a single shot.

In the U/13 division, Louw Schoeman showcased his consistency once again, firing a 74 to secure a convincing four-shot victory.
