George Stapelberg continued his rise as one of the top players in the U/15 age group with a dominant performance at the Junior Winter Series (2) played at Strand Golf Club. Stapelberg produced a superb two under par 70 to secure a convincing five-shot victory over the field.

The U/13 division delivered a thrilling finish as MC Fourie and Liam Kirsten both signed for rounds of 74. With the scores tied, Fourie claimed the division title on count-out.

The best girls U/15 performance of the day came from Erin-Leigh Arnold, who carded an excellent round of 80 to top her division.
