The Clovelly Junior Championship provided the perfect setting for another exciting day of junior golf, with players enjoying beautiful weather and a golf course presented in outstanding condition. The excellent playing conditions were matched by a series of impressive performances throughout the field.

Home course knowledge proved invaluable as Clovelly member Adam Perring produced a superb three-under-par 69 to claim the overall title. Perring led a dominant showing from the host club, with fellow Clovelly members Evan Marais and Noah Lamb sharing second place on two-under-par 70, while Zach Potgieter added to the local success with a one-under-par 71. The quartet showcased the strength of Clovelly’s junior golfers with a brilliant display on familiar fairways.

In the age divisions, Tyra Booysen claimed the Girls U/19 title with a solid round of 87.

Christian Swanepoel delivered one of the standout performances of the day, cruising to an eight-shot victory in the Boys U/15 division after an outstanding level-par 72.

Erin-Leigh Arnold continued her excellent season by securing another Girls U/15 title with a round of 82, while MC Fourie edged out the competition in the U/13 division, winning by a single shot with a score of 79.
