A putt above the rest!
Premier Amateur Tour – Clovelly Open – Sunday 28 October 2018
Nobody could match the putting skills of Strand’s Deon Germishuys at the Clovelly Open held on Sunday. It was a putting masterclass of 17 Birdies in 36 holes of golf.
Germishuys won his second Premier Amateur Tour event with ease, and a record total score of 64-65 (129). His nearest competitor, Pearl Valley’s Keagan Thomas was seven shots adrift.
Tyran Snyders (Durbanville) bounced back from a 2-over-par 74 morning round to card the lowest round of the tournament – 9-under-par 63. Snyders finished T3 with Sam Simpson on a total 7-under-par.
