The 2025 Strand Senior Series presented a challenging test for players, with overcast and windy conditions dominating the competition.

In the first nine holes, Brian Mampies (Royal Cape) set the early pace with a 35 (-1) on the front nine, followed closely by Duane Fisher (Royal Cape) and Robert Oosthuizen (Bellville), both carding 36 (level par).

In the closing nine holes, Weyers Janse Van Rensburg (Milnerton) made a charge carding a 1-under par 35 on his closing nine holes to finish on 73 (+1), However, Duane Fisher maintained a steady performance, finishing with 37 for a total of 73 (+1). Robbie Oosthuizen also posted 73 (+1). However, Brian Mampies delivered an exceptional level par on the back nine, carding 36 for a total of 71 (-1). As the only player to go under par on the day, Mampies secured the championship title, winning by two strokes.

Lukas Lonte (AB Links) won the Seniors Nett category with 74. Henry Trevena (Royal Cape) took first place in the Super Senior category with a gross of 77 c/i.

The Stableford Division was won by Charles Glesser (Devonvale) with 28 points.
