The 2025 Western Province Senior Open was held at Bellville Golf Club, where players faced challenging conditions, particularly strong winds, that made scoring difficult during the opening round. The first day saw several players struggle with the weather, including Weyers Janse Van Rensburg (Milnerton), Ludwig Schreuder (Bellville), and Daune Fisher (Royal Cape), who all carded an opening round of 72. Greg Woodbridge (AB Links) followed closely with a first-round score of 73.

On Day 2, improved weather conditions provided better scoring opportunities. The overnight leaders were determined to maintain their form, but it was Cameron Johnston (King David Mowbray) who set the pace, recording 5 birdies and 3 bogeys for a 2-under-par 70 to take the clubhouse lead. Greg Woodbridge finished with a 72, joining the clubhouse leaders at +1 for the tournament. Weyers Janse Van Rensburg held a one-shot advantage heading into the final hole; however, a bogey on the 18th forced a three-way playoff.

In the ensuing playoff, Cameron Johnston triumphed with a superb birdie on the first hole, securing the win.

In the Super Senior Section, Craig Poulton (King David Mowbray) claimed victory with rounds of 73 and 79.
