2024 King David Mowbray Caddie Series: A Thrilling Penultimate Event

Chris Williams (King David Mowbray) and Jeff De Villiers (Royal Cape) made an impressive start, each scoring 21 points in the first nine holes.

Following closely behind them was Divan Scholtz, who scored 19 points on the front nine. Within two points of the lead, he showed he was a serious contender.

As the day progressed, Strand Golf Club’s Benito Robertson mounted a remarkable comeback, carding 21 points on his final nine holes. With 39 points, he temporarily retained the clubhouse lead.

Jeff De Villiers and Chris Williams both scored 19 points on their final nine holes. They tied for the lead with 40 points each, setting up a thrilling finish.

The King David Mowbray Caddie Series winner was determined by count-out.

• 1st place: Chris Williams – 40 points C/I
• 2nd place: Jeff De Villiers – 40 points C/O
• 3rd place: Benito Roberston – 39 points C/I
• 4th place: Divan Scholtz – 39 points C/O
• 5th place: Rashaad Basson – 38 points C/I
