The inaugural Clovelly Junior Winter Series kicked off amidst blustery conditions on April 28th at the picturesque Clovelly Country Club. The gusty winds added an extra layer of challenge to the already demanding course, making for a grueling day on the links. Special commendations are due to Paul, Aiden, and the entire Clovelly team for orchestrating a memorable and enjoyable event.

In the under-13 category, Alwyn Rossouw showcased his prowess with a remarkable display of golf. Despite a shaky start with a 41 on the back nine, Rossouw rallied admirably, carding an impressive 38 on the front nine to clinch the under-13 title by a commanding 4-stroke margin.

Meanwhile, the under-15 division witnessed a fierce showdown between Junkai Zhu and Arman Patel. Patel held a slender one-shot advantage with just four holes remaining, but Zhu staged a dramatic comeback, finishing strong with a stellar 74 to secure victory. Patel settled for second place with a respectable 75 gross.
