The stage was set for the fourth Caddie Series of the season at Clovelly Country Club. A clear sky and a palpable sense of anticipation filled the air.

Richard Roman (Westlake) made an impressive start by scoring 20 points in the first nine holes. In close pursuit of him, Linn Philander scored 18 points on the front nine to finish within two points of the lead.

The competition was far from decided. Milnerton Golf Club’s Joseph Mabiza finished the day with 35 points, securing the clubhouse lead. However, Daniel Joseph (Clovelly) made a surge in the final nine holes, drawing level with Mabiza at 35 points.

As the day ended, five players tied for 35 points. This led to a count-out to decide the Clovelly Caddie Series winner.
