King David Mowbray Golf Club hosted the Prentice Memorial Trophy on Tuesday, 2 July.

Divan Linde triumphed, his name permanently inscribed on the Prentice Memorial Trophy. Despite a slow start with one birdie and three bogeys on the front nine, he rallied with four birdies in five holes starting on the back nine. A pair of bogeys on the 15th and 16th holes briefly interrupted his momentum, but a final score of 72 secured the trophy.

In the Under-15 division, Junkai Zhu completed a hat-trick. His exceptional form, composed demeanour, and consistent play earned him another victory. Although he faced early challenges with five bogeys and a single birdie for a front nine score of 40, Junkai clinched birdies on the 10th, 17th, and 18th holes. He concluded the round with a 73, edging out the competition by one stroke.

Nico Grove, riding the wave of a recent win, displayed top-notch form again. He opened the tournament with a 38 on the front nine and showcased his prowess with seven pars and two birdies on the back nine. This led to a six-shot triumph with an even-par 72.
