The WP High Schools Regional Qualifier, held at Metropolitan Golf Club, showcased an excellent standard of junior golf, with teams competing fiercely to qualify for the SA High Schools Championship.

Durbanville High School delivered a dominant performance, securing victory by an impressive 9-shot margin. The team finished on a commendable one-over-par total, underlining their consistency across all counting scores.

Leading the way was George Stapelberg, who produced a superb round of 69, not only the best score for his team but also the lowest individual score of the day. He was well supported by Tiaan Louw and Nico Grove, who both returned solid rounds of 71, contributing significantly to the team’s success. Xander Rossouw rounded out the team effort with a score of 77.
