Milnerton Open 2018

Luca Flippi added the Milnerton Open to his list of accolades for the year, coming off a win at the Southern Cape Open a couple weeks ago, his good form continued.
after the first round Filippi and other Milnerton Local Geno Belfiore were tied for the lead on 5 under par 67, with the course in fantastic condition and the wind staying away, the second round was bound to be a birdie fest.

Filippi started the second 18 solidly and opened up a 6 shot lead heading into the back 9, unfortunately Belfiore succumbed to a couple early bogeys on the front 9, and in turn his title shot slowly fell away. Adrian Ford lit up the course with a Course Record 65 in the afternoon, with no bogeys on the card he moved up the leader board to tie with Deon Germishuys for 2nd spot, after Germishuys put two solid rounds of 69 & 70 together.

Well done to Luca who finished on 10 under par and to win by 5 shots on a stunner day at the Milnerton Course!
