Fish Hoek High School were crowned the 2026 WP High School League champions after an impressive 4–2 victory over Durbanville High School in the final on 31 August.

The championship was the perfect conclusion to a dominant season for Fish Hoek, who finished top of the log after the season-long round-robin competition. They recorded an outstanding nine wins and one draw, remaining unbeaten throughout the league campaign. Their only dropped points came in a draw against Durbanville High School, who would ultimately finish second on the log and earn their place in the championship final.

The final brought the two strongest teams in the competition together once again, setting the stage for an exciting conclusion to the season. Fish Hoek produced another strong performance when it mattered most, securing a convincing 4–2 victory to lift the 2026 WP High School League title.

Their unbeaten league record, combined with their performance in the final, underlined their consistency and strength throughout the competition. Durbanville High School also enjoyed an excellent season, finishing second on the log and pushing the eventual champions all the way in what proved to be a highly competitive league.
