GALANT, STAPELBERG AND SWANEPOEL SHINE AT ROYAL CAPE JUNIOR CHAMPIONSHIP

The prestigious Royal Cape Junior Championship took place today under clear skies and on a course in beautiful condition. The well-manicured fairways and slick greens set the stage for an exciting day of junior golf, with standout performances across all age divisions.
Jaydon Galant emerged as the overall champion, claiming the title with a composed round of 74. His consistent play throughout the day paid off, allowing him to pull away from the field and secure a well-earned three-shot victory.
In the Under-15 division, George Stapelberg stepped into the winner’s circle with a solid round of 79. His performance was enough to edge out his competitors by two shots, showcasing composure beyond his years.
Meanwhile, in the Under-13 division, Christian Swanepoel delivered a masterclass in junior golf. Firing an impressive level-par 72, Swanepoel cruised to victory by a commanding eight-shot margin. Remarkably, this marks back-to-back wins on consecutive days for the rising young star.
