The 2024 Bellville Senior Series greeted all competitors in pristine, windless conditions.

Dirk van der Merwe (Bellville), leveraged his ‘green knowledge’, scoring four birdies on the front nine to seize an early lead. Greg Woodbridge (Atlantic Beach Links) mirrored this performance on the back nine, with three birdies on four holes.

The competition was intense, but Greg Woodbridge clinched victory with a one-under-par 71, claiming the Bellville Senior Series Title. Craig Poulton followed closely with a 72. Cameron completed the top three with a 73.

Despite a challenging final nine, Dirk secured the Super Senior title, with Royal Cape’s Henry Trevena finishing second in the category.

The Stableford competition was a close contest between Simon Gurr and Charles Glesser. An impressive back nine allowed Simon from Westlake to surge ahead and secure victory.
