HENRU WALTERS DOMINATES AT CLOVELLY

The 2025 Clovelly Open kicked off with a thrilling Round One, showcasing exceptional golf from top contenders. Henru Walters (Durbanville) set the tone with a stellar 69 (-3), Walters was closely pursued by Craig Jacobs (AB Links), who shot a respectable 71 (-1). Notably, Walters and Jacobs were the only two players in the field to go under par in Round One.
In Round Two, Henru Walters maintained his form, carding a steady 73 and finishing with a total score of 142 (-2). This ultimately secured his victory in the championship by 7 strokes. Cole Cruickshank (Royal Cape) followed up with a 75 and 74, finishing in second place. Craig Jacobs finished in 3rd place with rounds of 71 and 79.
Women’s Division:
In Round One, Kaylah Williams (Durbanville) stood out with an impressive 71 (-1), the only player in the Women’s Division to go under par.
As the tournament progressed, Odette Booysen (Westlake) and Jordan Rothman (Durbanville) mounted a strong challenge, posting 76 and 79, and 75 and 80, respectively, to tie for the clubhouse lead at 155. However, Kaylah Williams’ endurance and skill ultimately paid off, as she carded a 79 in the final round to finish on 150 and winning the title by a five-shot margin.
