The opening event of the Clovelly Junior Winter Series teed off under clear skies, with the Clovelly Country Club course in superb condition, offering an excellent stage for some outstanding junior golf.

In the U/15 division, Joel Neethling claimed a hard-fought victory with a round of 76. Neethling held his nerve to edge out Keaton Filander by a single stroke in a tightly contested battle.

The U/13 division saw MC Fourie emerge victorious with a solid score of 77. Fourie finished two shots ahead of Erin-Leigh Arnold, securing a well-deserved win.

The tournament set a high standard for the rest of the series and showcased the promising talent coming through the junior ranks.
