03 November 2023 – The Clovelly Senior Open was accompanied by strong wind gusts, which made scoring difficult.

 

The tournament was fielded by the top senior players from Western Province, and it was quite interesting to see who would emerge as the champion.

 

A combination of effective course management and skillful shots was required to put together a solid round in order to stand apart from the rest of the field.

 

The Clovelly Senior Series was won by Jonathan Bernard (Clovelly) with a gross score of 71. (c/i).

 

Weyers Jansen Van Renberg (AB Links) finished second with a gross score of 71 (c/o).

 

Craig Poulton (KD Mowbray), Duane Fisher (Royal Cape), Cameron Johnston (Milnerton), and Craig Woodbridge (AB Links) shared third place, all with 72 gross scores.

 

Ludwig Schreuder (Bellville) won the nett prize with a score of 73. The super seniors division was won by Richard Brooker (Royal Cape), who achieved a gross score of 74. 

 

Org Ferreira (Devonvale) won the Stableford division with a score of 40 points.
