Durbanville junior, Jordan Rothman,  who recently became the first girl to qualify for the popular Bridge Fund Managers Junior Series Final – carded rounds of 77, 74, 74  to finish as the low amateur at the Cape Town Ladies Open played at the Par 74 , Royal Cape Golf Club.  Rothman posted a 74 in her final round to tie for 20th on three-over, four shots ahead of Casandra Hall from Ekurhuleni.

Lee-Anne Pace was the leading professional with rounds of 71, 72 & 71 – she won on the first play-off hole against Anne-Lise Caudel.
