The 2025 Rondebosch Open kicked off with a strong showing from Joshua Wiese (Ab Links), who shot a 3-under-par 69 in the opening round, taking the early lead. Adrian Ford (Durbanville)followed closely, finishing one shot behind with a 2-under-par 70. Notably, Wiese and Ford were the only two players to break par in Round 1.

In Round 2, Booye Walters (Bellville) staged a solid comeback, carding a 2-under-par 70 – the only player to go under par in the second round. This catapulted him 12 spots up the leaderboard, landing him in 5th place.

However, Joshua Wiese (AB links) maintained his composure and poise throughout the tournament and secured the title with a 1-shot victory over Adrian Ford.

In the Women’s Division, Jordan Pillay (Durbanville) emerged victorious in the women’s division, posting scores of 74 and 79 to claim the title with a 4-shot margin. Zoey Rhoda (KD Mowbray) secured second place with scores of 80 and 77, while Bev Button (Metropolitan) took third place with scores of 79 and 78.
