KEATON FILANDER CLINCHES CLOVELLY JUNIOR WINTER SERIES (3) TITLE IN TOUGH CONDITIONS

The third leg of the Clovelly Junior Winter Series took place at Clovelly Golf Club in challenging, rainy conditions that tested the resilience and skill of all participants.
Despite the weather, it was Keaton Filander who emerged victorious in the overall competition. Filander carded a 4-over-par 76, edging out Joel Neethling on a count-out after both players finished with the same score. Their performances stood out on a day when the course demanded precision and mental toughness.
In the U/13 division, Alwyn Rossouw claimed a hard-fought win, posting a round of 79 to finish one shot ahead of EJ Stafford. Rossouw’s steady play under pressure secured him a well-deserved victory in a tightly contested age group.
Congratulations to all the players for braving the elements and delivering strong performances in tough conditions. The next event in the series promises to bring more exciting junior golf action.
