The 2025 Caddie Series continued its exciting run as the third fixture teed off at the picturesque Milnerton Golf Club. A cool winter morning welcomed 40 players to the fairways, with ideal playing conditions setting the stage for some exceptional golf. Despite forecasts, the anticipated wind and rain never materialized, creating perfect scoring conditions for both the Stroke Play and Stableford divisions.

In the Stroke Play division, Paul Louw of Steenberg Golf Club carded an impressive 2-under-par 70 to clinch a narrow one-shot victory over Brian Daniels from Strand. Daniel Joseph (Clovelly) finished level par, while Jeff de Villiers (Royal Cape) and Wilson Kaingwe (Rondebosch) completed the top five, each posting solid rounds of 77.

The Stableford division saw a three-way tie at the top, with Westlake’s Bassil Blankeberg and Edgar Patterson, along with Benito Robertson, each amassing an excellent 43 points. Blankeberg emerged as the overall winner on a countout. Milnerton’s own Thabo Mokoena followed closely with 40 points, while Regan Patterson (Westlake) rounded out the leaderboard with a commendable 39.

The series continues to deliver exciting competition and camaraderie as the season progresses.
