The 2025 edition of the Irvin, Rutherford and Lefson Trophies took place at Atlantic Beach Links, where 17 teams competed across their respective divisions. Players were treated to immaculate course conditions and a crisp winter’s morning as the sectional matches got underway.

Irvin Trophy 🏆
Steenberg and King David Mowbray advanced to the afternoon final after strong performances in the morning matches. In the decider, Steenberg once again showcased their depth and consistency, successfully defending the Irvin Trophy with a commanding win over King David Mowbray.  

Rutherford Trophy 🏆
The Rutherford section saw Atlantic Beach, Steenberg and Rondebosch progress to the final stage after solid morning displays. The trophy proved to be the most tightly contested of the three events, with all three teams battling fiercely for top honours. In the end, Steenberg emerged victorious, Atlantic Beach secured a well-earned second place, and Rondebosch rounded out the podium.

Lefson Trophy 🏆
Atlantic Beach had plenty to celebrate as their Lefson team advanced to the final against Westlake. On home soil, they rose to the occasion, producing an impressive performance to capture the Lefson Trophy.
