The Royal Cape Open held on Sunday 29 November 2020 concluded the Boot Slammer Series.

With Covid decimating our Premier Amateur Tour, the Boot Slammer Series took its place with a total of ten 18 hole events.

Some interesting info:  there was a cumulative total of 842 players who took part; the highest entry was at Westlake 111 players in the field; Royal Capers Cole Cruickshank and Josh de Klerk were joint winners at the Royal Cape Open; Ayden Senger & Willier Olivier shared the spoils at Clovelly; Westlake’s Shaun le Roux won twice – KD Mowbray & Parow.  There was a three way spread at Rondebosch, Donovan Liddicoat, Hayden Garcia and Jack Buchanan.

It was Durbanville’s Tyran Snyders who picked up three wins; KD Mowbray, Atlantic Beach & Westlake with a combined total of 8-under-par.
