Metropolitan Golf Club offers a setting unlike any other.

The second leg of the Senior Series was held at the picturesque 9-hole golf course in Greenpoint. This course provides a panoramic view of the Atlantic Ocean, surrounding mountains, and Greenpoint Stadium.

While conditions were not ideal for scoring, competitors were not dampened by the cold and wet weather.

With great excitement, the drama unfolded, but only one winner emerged.

Woodbridge (AB Links) once again demonstrated why he is ranked number one in the country by posting a round of 70 at the Metropolitan, a course close to his heart. A second consecutive victory was secured with three birdies, three bogeys and twelve pars. The result gave him a commanding lead in the Senior rankings.

Jorrie Jordaan (Milnerton) was three shots behind the lead after a round of 73. The double bogeys on holes 2 and 11 proved to be costly for the player.

Veteran Boland Golfer Peter van Coller enjoyed a pleasant stroll in the park, winning the Super Senior Division with a round of 72, four shots out of the nearest competitor.
