The Metropolitan Junior Championship was played in perfect conditions, with competitors enjoying beautiful weather and a golf course presented in superb condition.

Tiaan Louw produced the standout performance of the day, carding a brilliant 3-under-par 67 to claim the overall title by a single shot. Louw was pushed all the way by Baldomero Padovano and Bryce Mogridge, who shared second place after impressive rounds of 2-under-par 68.

The Boys U/15 division delivered a thrilling contest between Louw Schoeman and Cheswin Damon. Both players finished on 3-over-par 73, with Schoeman claiming the division title on count-out thanks to a stronger second nine.

In the Girls U/15 division, Erin-Leigh Arnold continued her excellent season by adding another trophy to her collection. Arnold’s round of 77 secured a comfortable six-shot victory.

MC Fourie once again showcased his exceptional form in the U/13 division, firing a superb 1-under-par 69 to claim victory by six shots and continue his impressive run of results.
