The Rondebosch Junior Championship delivered another memorable day of junior golf, with players enjoying a golf course in outstanding condition and beautiful weather throughout the competition.

Tiaan Louw continued his excellent form, cementing his status as one of the players to watch by claiming his second consecutive junior title. Louw carded a superb four-under-par 68, finishing tied with Nicholas Thompson before holding his nerve to win on the second play-off hole.

The Girls’ Under-19 division also went down to the wire, with Ana-Maria Firer and Aminah Hendricks both posting rounds of 83. Firer was crowned champion on count-out after an evenly contested battle.

Alwyn Rossouw claimed the Boys’ Under-15 title with a solid 78, while Erin-Leigh Arnold took top honours in the Girls’ Under-15 division with an impressive round of 80. In the Boys’ Under-13 division, MC Fourie continued his dominant run of form, adding another title to his growing collection with a winning score of 76.
