TRAVIS PROCTER WINS THE 2025 DURBANVILLE OPEN

The 2025 Durbanville Open unfolded under beautiful skies and favorable scoring conditions, setting the stage for an exciting competition.

In round one, Ayden Senger (Durbanville) and Adrian Ford (Durbanville) shared the clubhouse lead with impressive (-5) 67s, while Jurie Groenewald (Bellville) trailed closely behind on 69 (-3) just two shots off the leaders.

As round two commenced, the competition intensified, with players pushing the limits. Craig Jacobs (AB Links) surged into the clubhouse lead with a 69 (-3) for Round 2 leaving him 5 under par total, However Travis Procter (Durbanville) hotly contested the top spot. Proctor, starting from 1-under par (71) after round one, delivered a clutch 68 (4-under par) to tie for the lead at 5-under par, forcing a playoff.

The playoff drama unfolded on the 18th hole, where Travis Procter showcased exceptional skill. He bombed a drive, chipped onto the pin, and left himself a tap-in 3-footer for birdie, securing the victory and claiming the 2025 Durbanville Open Championship.

                                                                                       

In the Women’s Division, Jordan Pillay from Durbanville Golf Club emerged victorious with a score of 157 to win by 3 shots.
