Langebaan’s Andre van Dyk wins the WP Senior Amateur Championship at Royal Cape Golf Club with a four-shot margin.

Intermittent drizzle didn’t deter Andre’s start to his final round, and an early birdie increased his overnight lead to three shots from his opponents.

At the halfway mark Van Dyk moved further ahead turning 1-under-par with a  three-shot lead, with September and Schulte on level par.

A further two birdies on the back nine put September out of contention and Van Dyk signed for another 3-under-par, total 6-under-par 138 to top the leaderboard.

September was runner-up on 2-under-par total 142, with Tony Bailey taking third spot on 2-over-par 146.
