The annual Friendship Trophy between Western Province and Boland was held at Strand Golf Club on Monday the 11th October 2021.

The Friendship Trophy was started in 2019 which would be the tournament, between the two Unions, to take the place of a Caddie IPT.

Throughout the year our WPG Caddies take part in what we call the Caddie League where all affiliated clubs enter a team of 6 caddies who are then up for selection to present WPG against Boland in the annual Friendship Trophy Fixture.

We are proud to say that the WP Caddie team beat Boland this year 7.5 – 1.5.

Western Province has managed to keep the Friendship Trophy at home again and their win forms part of a fantastic year for WPG, with us winning all IPT’s as well as the Friendship Trophy.
