Atlantic Beach Links set the stage for an unforgettable week of golf as it hosted the Senior and Super Senior Inter-Provincial (IPT) A-Section. With the event taking place on home soil, the pressure was on—but so was the support, as local fans lined the fairways to back the WP Golf teams in their quest for glory.

Under the experienced guidance of manager Mike de Swardt and the steady leadership of captain Greg Woodbridge, the Senior Team delivered a performance for the ages. Fueled by weeks of preparation and unwavering determination, the team stormed through the field with seven consecutive wins, going unbeaten for the tournament and finishing on a perfect 14 section points—three clear of their closest challengers, Central Gauteng.

Their mission was clear: defend the title at home—and they did just that, completing a remarkable threepeat!

Meanwhile, the Super Senior Team, led by manager Trevor Steensma and captain Craig Poulton, faced a tough campaign against a competitive field. Despite a few hard-fought matches, they managed 2 wins and 3 losses, finishing fourth on the log. It wasn’t the result they were hoping for, but the team showed incredible character and spirit throughout the week.
