The WP Senior Open Championships 2022 was held at the Milnerton Golf Club on Thursday, 17^th February & Friday, 18^th February 2022

Scoring conditions was non-existent on Thursday, taking into consideration the South Easter showing its ‘teeth’. Friday, was a completely different ball game, with picture perfect conditions and impressive scoring.

Francois Hanekom, Stellenbosch Golf Club, carded a fantastic 69 gross on the final round with Greg Woodbridge, Atlantic Beach Links, and Ulrich Schulte, Bochumber Golf Club in Germany, with rounds of 2 under, 70 and Cameron Johnston, KD Mowbray Golf Club, Deon Brown, Somerset West Golf Club and Denis Day, Royal Cape Golf Club all on 1 under, 71.

A well deserved victory by Greg Woodbridge on a gross score of 144 followed by:

T2 – Ulrich Schulte – 145
T2 – Cameron Johnston – 145
T2 – Giles Buchanan – 145
